The Port of Vieux Fort managed and operated by St Lucia Marine Terminals is located at the southern tip of Saint Lucia .  The port which is strategically placed in the heart of Saint Lucia's newest industrial frontier is easily accessible from Hewanorra International Airport, the Industrial Zone and the Vieux Fort Industrial Estate as well as walking distance to the largest and most modern fisheries complex in the Eastern Caribbean.

The port is operational 24 hours a day, every day and is physically facilitated to accommodate a finger pier 500ft long and 50ft wide on either side.  The height of the quay from the water level at low tide is 7.5ft and 6.5ft at high tide with the depth along the peir at 35ft.
